Low Carb Shakes

Low carb shakes are an experience you will remember.

Ah, The Fabled Low Carb Shakes!

Ever get the low carb shakes?

What? You think we are talking about milkshakes? You think we would devote valuable web space to that, in this day and age, when everyone knows that beer is the new dessert? Heck no. When we talk about the low carb shakes, we are talking about a specific feeling. The one you get when you wake up having consumed a 24-pack of low carb beer such as Michelob Ultra. In an effort to lose weight, you switched over to a beer with fewer carbohydrates. An admirable move, except for the fact that you went ahead and had 24 of them. And that they taste like absolute ass! But anyway, back to the shakes...

We've all had that feeling when we wake up to some nasty-looking creature from a lagoon somewhere...

... Yeah, that and the pounding headache will make you wish you were dead. Then, the shakes kick in...

... The freezing cold on a 75-degree day... the uncontrollable shivering... the convulsing... the nausea...

... The feeling that makes you feel so helpless, so pathetic, you gotta tell your friend about it...

"Ugh... I got the shakes, man... the low carb shakes ... I gotta get some water..."

The nice thing about these shakes is that they are the result of partying hard. You probably have some good memories from the night before, when you shook that ass on the dance floor! And you can chase the shakes with some low carb foods specifically designed for hangovers, such as bacon, corned beef hash and sausage and eggs and steak. Mmm. Delicious and so good for you, too. If you want some dessert, you can always sample low carb chocolates, but that crap tastes awful. Just keep getting crunked on the low carb booze you love and then eat comfort foods such as we described above while passed out on the couch.

Then run it back and get the low carb shakes again tomorrow AM. Good times!
