Why eating low carb foods is nice

In many ways it is a good idea for you to cut out the empty carbohydrates and concentrate on low carb foods. You will pack on the pounds a lot less quickly if you moderate your intake of pasta, bread and starches and focus on healthier low carb options. This is the reason for the craze sweeping the nation right now, in which people everywhere are forgetting that carbohydrates even existed.

But is it smart? Or are a lot of people taking this too far?

When you eat low carb foods, you are only doing yourself good to a degree. Below we will talk about a few of the things that can go wrong if you lean too much on this new diet concept.

Why getting overly dependent upon low carb foods could be rather counterproductive

Let's put it this way. Unless you sit around all day, you need energy. And if you need energy, you need carbohydrates. The key to any diet's lasting success is exercise. So if you want to exercise, which you really should, then you need energy. As a result, you have to have some sort of carbohydrate intake. Are we making ourselves clear on this? That's what carbs are. Energy for you to burn as you go through the day.

It's a simple fact that low carb foods have their own litany of risks if you overdo them. Same as anything. So take this for what it is. A fad that has some good points... but is not to be followed to the letter.
