Safe Low Carb Diet

If you've been researching low carb diet plans, you might know that low carb diets have been getting a bad rap. That's because they're not the healthiest way to go. But if you're looking for a safe low carb diet, you'll find it.

Ensuring A Safe Low Carb Diet

The only thing dangerous about being on a low carb diet is not eating carbs at all. Lot of low carb diets start you out close to that, but only for two weeks. After that, if you're following a safe low carb diet, they'll gradually reintroduce carbs in your diet--but not just any carbs. A safe low carb diet will encourage you to bring fruits and vegetables back into your diet. In addition, a safe low carb diet will suggest lean cuts of meat instead of fatty ones.

For awhile, you won't get many fruits and vegetables, and you won't get much milk. In order to stay healthy, you will need to take a multivitamin, fiber supplement and calcium supplement. And you probably won't have any energy. (You get energy from carbs. Cut out carbs and you lose energy.) But a safe low carb diet (or even just a good one) will tell you to try to muster up enough energy to work out. That's good advice. A low carb diet plan works by burning fat for fuel in the absence of carbs, and the first 20 minutes of any workout is spent burning carbs. The rest of the time you burn fat. But if you don't have carbs to burn, you'll just be burning fat. That's why if you ask anyone at a gym how they got those washboard abs, they'll probably tell you a little something about working out and eating low carb diet foods. (Those people are usually big on protein shakes or protein bars.) These people probably don't eat any carbs whatsoever. Ever. And that's definitely not a good way to go on a low carb diet. Safe low carb diets incorporate low carb diet food and exercise.
